Steel manufacturer Pacific Industrial Company (PIC) is the embodiment of migrant success in Western Australia. For the founding family, it was a story that simply had to be put on paper – and retold just as well as it is by Erasmo Mosole himself.
Erasmo started PIC with partners in 1969, and expanded business from works for agriculture in the Wheatbelt to major projects in the state’s thriving resources and commercial construction sectors.
Erasmo’s sons are now well established in the management of PIC, and they wished to capture 50 years of achievements in images and recollections.
The book also brings together a comprehensive project catalogue, an employee honour roll, and a foreword by then-Premier, Mark McGowan.
This project was the catalyst for a full rebrand of PIC by Bonser Design, and the book itself has since turned into an unexpected marketing tool – so engaging have their clients found the story, PIC use it as their primary communication when engaging with new business.

Outcome.
Celebrating 50 Years provides a historical context around the success and longevity of our respected WA family business. The process of creating this professional publication has given us the opportunity to reflect on the journey to date and to revisit the many significant projects PIC has delivered. We have received many compliments from business acquaintances, friends and family. It has captured the essence of who we are, the challenges we have faced, what we have proudly delivered and our aspirations for the future.”
